At first I couldn’t tell if those were wires or blood vessels in Xeno’s mouth in the last two panels.
The sparks in the second-to-last panel do get lost a bit with the downscaling. The colors also don’t help since it’s exactly what every medical illustration uses for blood vessels xD
But blood vessels wouldn’t really be blue, I believe.
They are blue, but when exposed to oxygen, they turn red. So, if would be impossible. They would have to be both blue, and then that means no air, so benji won’t be alive, or both red, but they are blue AND red.
That proved that hybrids Are the only thing that aliens doesn’t kill or it just feels sorry for him

Funny thing, this is still the latest comic and they’re making a game called Nemesis Distress that beats obvious similarities.
I have no idea WHY Xeno began to like Benji, but it would be a sin to harm it after THIS.

I wonder if the Xeno is about to go through a molt. The pattern along the head there is more like a hive warrior type (Aliens) than a younger scout warrior type (Alien).
